I didn’t tell a lot of people this, but after that last so-called tour, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to play music anymore. [Read more…]
Upcoming Concert – Kindred
A new album of songs with cellist Anne-Marie Guedon and violinist Andrea Bettger. To be released in a multi-media performance at the Northern Arts and Cultural Center, May 22, 2014.
No Eclipse, Jonathan Churcher and Artless Media
This is a collaboration between a few folks in YK that I’ve had the pleasure of working with and who I also happen to enjoy immensely. I sang with Jonathan Churcher on this song, No Eclipse, and worked with Artless Media on North Paws and the filming of the Inside Journeys Outside show. They were paired up in Yellowknife’s 48H Music Video Competition and walked away with both People’s Choice and Critic’s Choice awards. It’s pretty rad, check it out: [Read more…]

Concert Credits and Thank Yous
Wow, what a night. I am still reeling from it all. Lung presented a stunning photo exhibit in the lobby of NACC, played on a beautiful grand piano with an incredible cast of musicians and dancers, nearly 200 friends in the audience, the whole thing was pretty amazing. Fortunately we filmed the whole thing and there will be clips online soon. In the meantime, we posted these bios on the wall beside the entrance but in case you didn’t have a chance to see it – here are all the amazing folks who took part in this event: [Read more…]

We will have nearly ten musicians playing over the course of the evening, dancers, and a set based on Charlie’s live-in art installation he created in the desert. As many of you know, Charlie passed away in May of last year so the concert is also to honor his memory and to present a kind of offering to him.
So what I am asking for right now, with nearly two weeks left to go, is your help. [Read more…]
